Preston Park Museum, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3RH

FREE Join us to celebrate the wildlife of the Tees Valley and find out how you can get involved with watching and recording it. Anyone interested in observing wildlife is welcome, from the complete beginner to the seasoned naturalist.

Gordon Simpson’s Leaving

I have booked the Cross Keys at Hamsterley Village on Tuesday 3 October at 1pm for lunch for those who wish to attend. The pub does require final numbers and I have noted approximately 20 wish to attend. If you have not notified me that you wish to join us please let me know a.s.a.p. The pub is sending me a menu that I will circulate once it arrives.

 

Darlington Council Bat Walks

The following walks are being held at the following venues and are being organized by the council and not Ian Bond as previously stated:

  • Tennis Dene near Cockerton on 31 August at 7.50pm 
  • South Park on 6 September at 7.35pm meeting at the Clock Tower
  • The Whinnies on 4 September at  7.15 meeting at the Woolsington Drive end
  • North Park on 21 September at 7pm meeting at Cumberland St entrance
  • Broken Scar on 28 September at 6.30pm in the top car park

Warm clothes & a torch are recommended.
