Sunday April 22nd Field Trip to Whorlton.   Leave Abbey Road 2.00 pm. We will be joined by some members of Cleveland Naturalists

This is a short circular walk through delightful woodland and down to the bank of the River Tees.  We expect to see spring flowers in bloom and see and hear bird life. We may also find insects and snails.  There are some magnificent Beech trees by the river.

There is a short climb up from the river bank to the village with a hand rail for assistance.  Some may wish to bring a stick. Appropriate clothes and boots or strong shoes should be worn.
