Butterfly Conservation

Butterfly recording article for FC web site.

Butterfly Conservation are interested in collecting records of all butterflies seen in the UK.

This can be done in a number of ways, but he one that suits members of the field club best is by sending in casual records of butterflies they see to Butterfly Conservation North East Branch.

A record sheet for sending in casual records by email or by post can be down loaded from the North East Branch web site at www.northeast-butterflies.org.uk

The web site contains not only details on casual recording, but also other methods of recording and lots of other information on butterflies.

If you send in casual records you will receive early in the following year a copy of the summary of all butterflies recorded in the North East.

You could of course also join Butterfly Conservation
